Acoustik Musik, Ltd. is a professional company committed to providing the best audio services for our clients. We will do everything we can to satisfy you as a client.
The quality of sound you hear in our mastering facilities is the sound quality that will be recorded and reproduced onto media. Other sound systems outside our studios may not be able to play back the same quality of sound. You are agreeing to accept the sound quality of your mastered materials when you leave our facility.
Acoustik Musik, Ltd. is not responsible for unsuitable media purchased by the client, or media damaged before it reaches our facility or after it leaves. We are not responsible for any recording or processing done before we have worked on products or after they have left our facility.
By using our facilities, you agree to honor all union rules and copyright laws. Acoustik Musik, Ltd. will not be held as a party in any actions resulting from the client's infringement of such rules and/or laws. All copyrighted material must be accompanied by written permission from the legal copyright holder before it can be copied or used in the production of media. The client agrees to indemnify Acoustik Musik , Ltd. from any claims or charges resulting from such actions and to provide, in full, all legal fees necessary to settle any legal actions brought against Acoustik Musik, Ltd as a result of the client’s copyright infringement.
Payment is to be made upon delivery of the final product. We reserve the right to request partial payment in advance. Estimates of production costs will be given upon request at no charge. Quotes are valid for fifteen days from the date the quote was made. Full payment is expected at the end of the mastering session(s) and before the materials are released to the client unless other arrangements have been made and approved by both parties in advance.
Storage of client's materials is provided for the length of the session only. Materials are stored at the client's risk. Long-term storage of client's materials (archiving) can be arranged for a fee. Our copies of the client’s materials used in the production of the masters will be archived for a period of six months after the last mastering session and then destroyed unless other storage arrangements have been made and paid for in advance.
We prefer our clients to be at the mastering sessions. There is no rate increase for attended sessions. A maximum of three people can be accommodated during a mastering session due to space limitations.
Changes requested by customers after a project is approved will be subject to our normal charges.
All CD-R media will be charged to the client, as it is non-returnable and non-reusable.
Time charges begin at the scheduled start time for the session. Sessions cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged for two hours at our normal rate.
No software not owned by Acoustik Musik, Ltd. will be installed on any computers owned by Acoustik Musik, Ltd. for any reason.
All information and materials will be kept strictly confidential.
